MEET THE SALT STAFF

SAM GOODSON

Founder

John 414's Chairman & Liaison to the Philippines, Sam holds degrees in Chemical Engineering, LSU, Management and Marketing, Richmond University, Firefighting, Texas A&M, and Executive Business, London Business School. He worked primarily in the area of phosphorus based chemicals used for food preservatives, agricultural chemicals, flame retardants, oil well production, pharma, and detergents. He has served on variety of levels from Senior Process Engineer, to Chief Operations Officer, to President.

Sam has seen much of the suffering and plight of the people of Asia and has a heart for providing for their physical, educational, and spiritual needs. He and his wife helped establish a school in the Manila area to educate poor and low income children. They have helped orphans in China and with water wells in Zambia. They plan to continue their work in these and other areas with bare bones direct involvement in order to maximize available resources. Sam is continually in contact with people abroad in the Philippines and other Asian countries to identify humanitarian needs there.

RITCHEL BAUTISTA

Principal

Aside from being a hands-on school manager and Principal, She is an Educator for more than 20 years, holding a diploma on Special Education and Masters on Continuing Education. She practices her education by teaching the ABCs (kindergarten) and primary students.

PTR. JOCY GARCIANO

Staff

A former Pastor of a church in Visayas, he ministers through his godliness and spiritual leadership. He is an ever dependable all-around help. He also shares his skills and talents with the school.

SHIRLEY CASIMIRO

Monitor

Although a graduate in HRM, her passion for children and education made her choose to be an educator. She is currently pursuing Professional Education in the local University to further her Teaching skills.

JOMAR BUQUIA

Supervisor

A Bible school graduate, he expresses his love for God by caring for his children. A believer of Academic excellence, he is an excellent orator and a true educator by heart.

RONNIE ABLAZA

Monitor

A SALT staff since the beginning of the school, his faithfulness to the institution makes him one of the most memorable faces in the staff. Although a graduate in Marine Sciences, his expertise is in the computer and multimedia technologies and his passion, the children. He is well known for his patience amongst the students.

DARYLL DAJAC

Supervisor & Math Teacher

Having a noteworthy character and a Secondary Math Education degree holder, he endeavors children to enjoy learning math with him.

A major contributor to SALT's new building, his generous heart helped the school touch more lives than ever in Caloocan City, Philippines.

LEO LORENZANA

Board Director

He served as a respectable spiritual leader in the Philippines for 21 years and was a professor at BJMBC Philippines, an extension of Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina, USA. He shared Devotions at SALT as a former Chaplain and continues to be an influence to this day. He holds a Certificate from UP-ISSI (University of the Philippines- Institute of Small Scale Industries) and is a certified TESOL instructor.

KAYE LORENZANA

Administrator

A seasoned manager and director of multiple companies and organizations, she is a licensed Math Teacher and a Proessional Education degree holder. She finished her MBA at the University of the Philippes, the top university of the country. She is an approachable leader and an exceptional soft skills trainor.

ABIGAIL LORENZANA

Marketing Manager

One of the SALT pioneers, she has taken a course on design thinking and utilizes her Artistic abilities to promote the institution she loves best. She is a certified ALS instructor and a MAPEH teacher.

RAIA LORENZANA

Music Teacher

A proud SALT Graduate, she garnered multiple international awards for her Musical Abilities and Creative skills and shares them with the students of her beloved Alma Mater.

ALONA GARCIANO

Secretary

Being the school secretary for many years, she is a faithful steward and ever dependable aid. Her amiable personality and sincerity assures trustworthiness. With many important life-skills acquired through the years, she also teaches Livelihood Education.

JASON DELA PEÑA

Monitor

As a servant-leader, he is a trustworthy layman in his local church. He has years of teaching experience and has a comendable interpersonal skills.

PRINCESS ABELA

Classroom Assistant

A friendly face in the SALT staff, she is a graduate of Biblical Studies continues to train for for a Professional Secretary and Assistant.

DENNIS DEMATA

CLE Teacher

A masters degree holder in theology and a church worker of Promised Land Baptist Church of Malabon, he shares his spiritual insights and tends to the personal spiritual needs of each student.
